Online Application Simple Steps:

Click Apply on the RSTC Home Page

If you are a first time user select the First time user account creation link.

If you are a returning user enter your Login ID and PIN and then select Login.

Complete the Application Information.

(All Prospective Nursing Students MUST complete the Nursing Application in addition to the RSTC online application)

The Nursing Application and In-state Residency forms can be found below. You will need to save the forms to your computer, open the files using Adobe Reader, complete the forms, save them to your computer, then email the completed documents to admissions@rstc.edu. Please be advised you will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to digitally sign the forms.  A free version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pdf-reader.html

All students are required to submit an application for admission, and supply the College with an official copy of their high school transcript or an official copy of their GED scores. Students transferring from another college must submit an admissions application and an official copy of their transcript(s) from each college they have attended. Transient students must submit a transient letter from their home institution stating the courses that they will be allowed to take, in addition to an application for admission. The Office of Admissions will not issue copies of transcripts from other colleges or copies of high school transcripts to students.

Procedures For Making Application For Admissions

•A student must complete and submit an Online application at www.rstc.edu at least two weeks prior to start of the semester for all programs excluding Nursing. Please refer to the Nursing Application deadline and additional program requirements listed on the website. Nursing Applications are an additional requirement for all Prospective Nursing students and are required to be signed ( electronically typed signatures will not be accepted) and emailed to admissions@rstc.edu or nray@rstc.edu.  

• All applicants are to submit an official, sealed high school transcript or GED, and college transcript(s) prior to final acceptance.

• Proof of registration for Selective Service for males 18-26 years of age, and proof of in-state residency is required.

• Students planning to apply for financial aid should make an appointment with the Financial Aid Director to complete a Pell Grant application. Pell Grants should be electronically filed by the student.

• When the above requirements are satisfied, they will be processed and approved or disapproved, and the applicant will be notified of his/her status.

• All admitted students are required to take the ACCUPLACER placement exam prior to registration for more than 4 credit hours. An exam schedule can be obtained from the Testing Coordinator. Please contact Admissions for exemption qualifications.

• Students who do not have a high school diploma or GED may enroll in selected programs. However, the student must pass the Ability-to-Benefit test prior to being admitted to the college. A testing schedule may be obtained from the Testing Coordinator.
